Custom 3D Printing & Cosplay Builds

I offer fully custom 3D-printed projects, from full armor builds to detailed busts, life-size statues, and non-functional weapons and helmets. Whether you need a raw print or a fully finished and painted piece, I can bring your vision to life.

I also assist with unfinished projects—if you’ve started a build but need help completing it, I’m happy to step in and finish the job.

Turnaround Time & Pricing

  • Raw 3D prints can be ready in as little as one week.
  • Fully finished pieces, such as painted busts, typically take two weeks or longer, depending on the size and detail.
  • Custom orders are quoted individually based on project complexity and materials.

Hi, I’m George

I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and have always loved building things. My passion for creating started at a young age, though I didn’t get to work alongside my dad until later in life due to his long work hours. My mom, however, always encouraged me, telling me I could do anything I set my mind to.

My journey into cosplay began when I built my first costume for a friend—an Optimus Prime (Gen 1). While he loved it, I knew I could do better, which set me on a path of constant improvement.

How I Got Into 3D Printing

As a lifelong fan of Halo, I was inspired to create my own Master Chief armor. That’s when I discovered 3D printing and became hooked on the process of designing, printing, and perfecting each piece. I love the challenge of preparing armor files before printing and then finishing each part to look as realistic as possible.

Equipment & Materials

At Dream Factory Designs, I use high-quality equipment to ensure precision and durability in every print. My workshop includes:

  • 6 CR-10 printers
  • 3 Longer LK5 Pro printers
  • 4 Creality Ender-3 printers

For molding, I exclusively use Smooth-On silicone products to achieve high-detail, professional-grade results.

Fun Fact: My first attempt at making a mold didn’t go as planned—I accidentally sealed a part inside that had taken four days to print! It was a tough lesson, but every mistake is a step toward mastery.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I take my measurements for a custom armor build?

Use a cloth measuring tape and refer to our measurement template to ensure accurate sizing.

After each use, clean your armor with mild soap and water, then towel dry.

PLA prints should not be exposed to extreme heat, such as inside a car on a hot day or placed in a window with direct sunlight, as the material can warp over time.
